Well, it has finally happened. I finally jumped on the blog bandwagon. It has been coming on for some time now, and I finally decided to do something about it. For anyone who doesn't know, this branch of the Connor family has been relocated to Hawaii. It is beautiful and warm here, pretty much all the time. Even when it is rainy, it is still pleasant. We are settled into our new house and are really enjoying life. The only dark spot in our lives is that Phil is often gone with the boat doing Navy stuff. Currently he is on a short deployment, but will be back soon, which has us all in an uproar around here, in a good way. We are enjoying our neighborhood, our ward, and our explorations of the island. Currently, we are beach hopping. We have been to the beach many times since our arrival here, but never the same beach twice. We are trying to enjoy all of them, and believe me there are so many of them that it will take us awhile to play at each one. We have seen many different colors of fish in the water, as well as some huge sea turtles, which was seriously cool. Yesterday we went to the Ko Olina Beach and it was very nice. The kids had a ball, but I forgot my camera in the car so sorry guys, next time. Nathan is out of school and is having fun taking it easy. He and Joslyn are enjoying their summer before they both get to head back to school. Caleb is now walking and is into everything. He is getting so big. Well, hopefully I will stay on top of this thing and keep the posts coming.

Not necessarily the auspicious beginning for which I had hoped. 4:30 am Sunday I woke up to my alarm and stumbled out of bed. I have never claimed to be a morning person, but thought I was pretty lucid considering. I had a bowl of frosted mini wheats, got dressed and most importantly fed Chase! Phil got me out the door at about 10 minutes past five and I took off. 5:10-5:55 am was spent driving. I knew the way, I had been sure to drive there on Friday. I didn't have any trouble until I got close and they started closing roads due to the r...
